Liquified Natural Gas

Liquified Natural Gas is natural gas that is processed by eliminating the content of impurities and the heavy fraction of hydrocarbons such sulfur, carbon dioxide, and water, and another hydrocarbon to achieve a methane composition above 90% which is liquefied at temperatures reaching -162 degree Celcius or – 256 degree Fahrenheit.

The change in the gas phase to the liquid makes the volume of gas delivered 6x more than CNG so that transportation efficiency is achieved.

LNG transferred to insulated storage tanks specifically built to hold LNG. These tanks can be found above or below ground and keep the liquid at a low temperature to avoid evaporation. LNG is used by end-users by first changing the LNG phase to NG with an evaporator device.
The liquefied gas phase will be converted into gas according to customer requirements at 1-5barg.

With land transportation modes, DGAS can deliver LNG up to a maximum of 600 KM. At the customer’s location, DGAS also prepares regasification facilities to ensure that the energy and pressure need to the customer’s location can be met properly. With liquid form, the capacity is 6x more than CNG. So that the optimization of transport costs will be carried out. Besides, cleaner gas is in the form of LNG because it has been purified from muddy content so that the combustion efficiency of the customer’s engine will be more optimal. Maintenance cost at the customer side will be reduced due to cleaner gas combustion like CO2, NoX, and other particles less than other fuel.
